April 1, 1996

In February 1994, Bishop Clarence Kelly purchased 55 acres of land in Round Top, New York. Two years later, on April 1, he acquired an additional 6 acres on which 7 small cabins were located.

The cabins were remodeled and made into a chapel, dining room, classroom, and living quarters. Immaculate Heart Seminary officially opened on October 15, 1996.

July 1997

The foundation for the new chapel building was laid.

The first two postulants received the cassock.

August 1997
March 2000

The chapel was completed in the spring of 2000.

Father Baumberger offered the first Mass in the new chapel.

July 1999 – August 2000

First Tonsure, Minor Orders, Subdiaconate, and Diaconate were conferred for the first time on a member of the Congregation.

Reverend Mr. Joseph Santay was the first member ordained to the holy priesthood.

April 18, 2001
December 21, 2001

Bishop Clarence Kelly appointed Father Paul Baumberger Assistant Spiritual Father.

Construction on the dormitory began.

September 2004
February 28, 2007

Father Joseph Santay was consecrated as the first bishop of the Congregation of St. Pius V.

Living quarters for the priests and seminarians were moved from the cabins to the new dormitory.

August 10, 2008

The Congregation opened its first mission in Starke, Florida. Subsequently, the Congregation opened missions in Louisville, Kentucky (2008), and Idaho Falls, Idaho (2014).

The first brother of the Congregation professed his perpetual vows.

April 27, 2016

Father James Carroll was appointed the first Superior General of the Congregation by Bishop Clarence Kelly. Father James Curatolo and Father Benjamin Selway were appointed the first General Councilors.

Father James Carroll was consecrated as the second bishop of the Congregation of St. Pius V.

December 27, 2018
September 2020

The Congregation founded its first mission house at Oyster Bay, New York. Two priests and a brother were assigned there.

There are currently two bishops, ten priests, seven seminarians and five brothers in the Congregation.
